Short Bio

Filip Medunić is a research fellow for geoeconomics at DGAP’s Center for Geopolitics, Geoeconomics, and Technology. Prior to that, he coordinated the European Power program at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), working on geoeconomics. He has published on economic statecraft development, economic security, and European foreign and economic policy.

Medunić studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Frankfurt and the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He holds a master’s degree in international affairs from the Hertie School of Governance.
