Short Bio

Hanna Gers has been working in DGAP’s Center for Security and Defense since June 2022. She currently works as a project officer in the project “Security and Stability in the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific –  Common Challenges and Opportunities for Cooperation.”

Gers studied political science in Göttingen and Hong Kong and international relations in Berlin, Potsdam, and Christchurch, New Zealand. She wrote her master’s thesis on minilateral security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.
