Germany and Eastern Europe

Germany has started to change course but it is not yet ready, mentally or militarily, to manage the threat that Russia is likely to pose to European security in the coming years.

It is one of the great failures of German foreign policy that it dismissed the warnings of its Eastern European neighbors about Russia’s bellicose intentions.
