Kurzbiografie

Joseph de Weck ist Associate Fellow im Europa-Zentrum der DGAP.  Er wirkt am Projekt „The Macroeconomic and Security Dimensions of Europe’s Clean Industrial Transition“ mit, das von Catalyse Europe gefördert ist.

Der Politologe und Historiker ist Europa-Direktor von Greenmantle, einem Beratungsunternehmen für makroökonomische und geopolitische Risiken. De Weck ist in Paris Senior Fellow am Institut Montaigne. Der Kolumnist von Internationale Politik Quarterly schreibt regelmäßig auch für The Atlantic und The Guardian.

2021 veröffentlichte de Weck das Buch „Emmanuel Macron: Der revolutionäre Präsident“, ein Porträt der französischen Gesellschaft anhand des Président de la République.
